The story that Mr. Lilly told us this evening in nightschool touched me in many ways. I’ve been through situations very similar to that. Something I would like to share is about my brother. It recently happened and it was the first thing I thought of when Mr. Lilly said, “write about something that happened to you or someone that represents hope”.
At the begining of this month, my brother had experienced something in his life that he wasn’t prepared for. He was outside enjoying the nice weather we’ve been having. He was out on his dirt bike (motercycle) or whatever you want to call it and was making a turn down by the graveyard (where most of my neighbors go down and ride at) and the dirtbike fell over on his leg and his body twisted. It was so bad of an injury that my mom and I had to rush him to the hospital, the doctor said they may have to do surgery on his knee, because it was in extremely bad shape. He was a military doctor, which scared me a little bit, because he wouldn’t be his actual doctor when my brother comes in for check ups. That night I went home with my dad, while my mom stayed at the hospital with my brother. I couldn’t sleep, at all, I had school the next morning but I chose to go down to the hospital with my dad to see my brother before his surgery that day. They took him back put him to sleep.. my mom, my dad and I went and ate lunch at the cafeteria at General hospital and the doctor came out and said that they were able to move some legiments and bones around, and that they didn’t have to do surgery, they just put him in a cast, and he has to wear it for 6 weeks. With all the prayers he actually didn’t have to get surgery, I thanked my family and friends for praying for him. To this day, he is still in a caste, he’s been in it for almost 4 weeks I think, but he is doing mucb better. I knew that god was looking out for him.

Unfortunatly i’m in nightschool right now, its about 4:21 pm. I’m tired, bored, and yet aggravated. I have to go straight home, relax a little bit and do homework :/ I’m learning my lesson though. I skipped so bad last year that I failed English both semesters. So now i’m in here..
On a lighter note, my weekend was splended, Friday night was my boyfriend’s birthday, we spent the evening at his house with the majority of his family, it was fun. Saturday, we went to the mall and out to dinner at Chili’s, nothings better than their bottomless chips
Then we went to his friend’s girlfriend’s house and had a little bit of fun :p and Sunday, we went to his game at the Y and went picnicing out at little creek park
it was fun.
But now i’m done typing for the day, I may end up updating tomorrow, who knows
But let me know how you liked my first entry. yay!
